Choosing The Perspective of Praise - Pastor Terry Linscott
September 19, 2021 The Apostle Paul wrote the book of Philippians while imprisoned. As he awaited trial and a possible death sentence, he tells believers, “Rejoice always!” Most people would question his message because it doesn't make sense to celebrate the Lord during the trials of life. Nevertheless, Paul knew that rejoicing is like refueling the joy the Lord provided. Certainly, rejoicing always is easier said than done. How do we do that when life stinks, is sour, and creates many obstacles for us? We must choose the lens by which we see every situation: our perspective determines our outcome. If we look through the perspective of fear and anxiousness we will only see the negative and the pain; however, when we look through the lens of praise, we will see the potential God has to work in us and through us
Faith and the Gospel - Pastor Terry Linscott
September 15, 2021 All are unique in the way they come to faith in the gospel. Like food, some devour once received, while others only eat tiny bits, having to get used to the taste before they genuinely enjoy it. That is the greatness of the gospel. We all receive a measure of faith, but each in their own time will see it grow.

Praying Through The Pain - Pastor Terry Linscott
September 12, 2021 Most people believe that anxiety is a sin. The Bible never said not to have anxiety. Instead, it says BE anxious for nothing. Like the check engine light on your car, anxiety is a warning signal alerting us of a potential problem. We must be careful about how we respond to anxiety. Do we get upset, frustrated, and worried so that we run away from the problem, or do we PRAY? Even Jesus felt the heaviness of decision when anxiety came to Him in the garden. Instead of running away from God's plan for His life, He ran to God in prayer. The best way to deal with anxiety, according to the Bible, is through prayer. We must develop a habit of talking to God and listening to Him. While we don’t necessarily have the power to control situations, we do have the ability to surrender to Jesus in prayer
When You've Had Enough - Pastor Terry Linscott
September 5, 2021 Is it even possible to live in complete peace? In a fast-paced life with too many choices, too many opinions, and too many decisions, how are we able to live in peace? According to scripture, there are at least four ways to react to stressful situations. When anxiety appears, we can choose to run ourselves into the ground, shut people out, focus on the negative, and forget about God. But God shows us a better way. Take a step back, take a deep breath, and rejoice and learn what it means to be anxious for nothing.
Components Of A Successful Christian Part 3 - Pastor Terry Linscott
September 1, 2021 Are you managing the gifts God gave you properly? Usually, when the topic of stewardship comes up in church, it centers around money. But stewardship is about so much more than money. Stewardship is all about making the most of what you have, whether it is your finances, your marriage, your kids, your ministry, your time, or your stuff. Everything God gave you belongs to Him. You are appointed as a manager over those blessings, to use them for God’s glory. Tonight’s message will pick up where we left off last week as Pastor Terry talks about the following components of a successful Christian: money, stewardship, your mouth, and the blessing. Moreover, you’ll discover that your life follows the words you are speaking. Grab your Bible, a notepad, and a pen, and get ready to discover how proper stewardship is an essential component of being a successful Christian.
